Million Air - Provo Announces Completion of New Aircraft Hangar Million Air-Provo is pleased to announce the completion of a new aircraft hangar at their Provo Airport location. The new hangar will provide 15,000 square feet of additional storage space for general aviation aircraft and can accommodate aircraft up to the size of a Gulfstream G550. “We are extremely happy to be able to offer our customers this new state-of-the art facility,” said Larry Mendenhall, Manager, Million Air-Provo. “Providing ample hangar space year-around is just one more step in our continuing goal of superior customer service.” As a subsidiary of Utah based Keystone Aviation, Million Air-Provo is a fixed-base operation serving the needs of general aviation customers at the Provo, Utah airport. In addition to hangar storage, the company provides aircraft management, air charter, and operates a Part 145 Class IV repair station capable of performing scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on almost all general aviation aircraft. The addition of the new hangar gives Million Air-Provo a total of over 21,000 square feet of space for aircraft storage and maintenance.
Million Air-Salt Lake City continues to expand its facilities with the acquisition of an aircraft hangar at its corporate headquarters at the Salt Lake City International Airport. Million Air-Salt Lake City recently hosted its 8th annual customer appreciation golf outing at the Homestead Resort in Heber, Utah. The theme for the day was “Go for the Green,” with the purpose of conveying Million Air-Salt Lake City’s ongoing efforts to promote and raise environmental awareness in its organization. All proceeds were donated to TreeUtah, a non-profit charity dedicated to enhancing the environment. “In the past few years, there has been an increased interest in aviation’s impact on the environment,” said Bill Haberstock, CEO of Million Air-Salt Lake City. “We want to show that we are committed to not only reducing our impact on the environment, but we constantly seek ways to refine our efforts in this area.” Signs were placed at each hole advising customers of specific steps Million Air-Salt Lake City has taken in its operation and facility, such as recycling efforts, monthly support of Rocky Mountain Power’s “Blue Sky” program, and updating high usage hangars with energy efficient light and heating. “We are already doing some very positive things in our organization,” continued Haberstock. “We are hopeful, that as an industry leader in this effort, communication of steps forward taken in our operation and facility will heighten awareness of environmental responsibility in other general aviation organizations, as well.” The event was held against the backdrop of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. The new terminal boasts state-of-the-art amenities for customers and flight crews. The theme throughout the terminal is reminiscent of the “glory days” of flying, when space and luxury were part of the travel experience, and not considered a premium. Natural lighting and vaulted ceilings are part of the sleek new decor. Customers will have a fully-equipped conference room available for their use, wireless internet access, and personalized concierge service. Pilots will be able to enjoy an expanded pilots’ lounge, private sleep rooms, and shower facilities. Additional office space for administrative personnel allows for a more smooth and efficient operation. The expansion to the current facility was completed as a result of Million Air Salt Lake City’s vision for the future. “This industry is growing rapidly, and we take pride in having always been rated the highest FBO in value and customer service in Salt Lake City,” said Bill Haberstock, President and CEO of Million Air Salt Lake City. “The new addition reflects our determination to offer the best facility and top-of-the-line amenities to our customers.” The expanded gift shop is located adjacent to the entrance of the new terminal and will offer a wide range of inventory for pilots and customers. Michael Brown will manage the gift shop which will offer flight necessities, convenience items, and popular aviation-related products. A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned in the upcoming weeks to celebrate the grand opening. “We are grateful to the community for its support during our expansion.
